White Fur Everywhere (Except for Buckley's Now Pink Mohawk)

I wish I could say that our trip to Vegas allowed us to relax and stop thinking about the house, but in reality, the vacation allowed us (or at least me) to spend more free time obsessing over the details. Friday is the big move day, so I am buttoning up all last minute items and ensuring that the apartment is as move in ready as possible. In our absence, the entire apartment received a fresh coat of paint. I have to say, "White Fur" was an excellent choice. It is shocking how clean and bright the space feels now.

In addition to the walls and ceiling in every room, the kitchen cabinets also got a nice coat of bright white. Even all taped up the kitchen still looks brighter! We still have  another week or two to wait on the counters.

In the mean time, I have ordered new hardware for the cabinets, drawers, and doors. I normally would never choose oil rubbed bronze, but because the apartment is taking on a cottage/guest house feel, it seemed like a good choice.

I also ordered little pulls to replace the knobs on the closet doors in the apartment bedroom. The doors are also sporting a new coat of "White Fur". Imagine how great they will look with these handles and a wrought iron bed frame in the room?

Despite all the upgrades, Buckley remains less than impressed.

No, his leg is not broken. He is just a poodle.
